I was a bit obsessed with creating on the spot poems from 5 random words thrown out by the nearest person!
Here is the first one ever written!
Words:
Egg, Letterbox, Shelf, Draft-Excluder, Pip
Poem:
The Egg and Pip lived in the docks,
In a beautiful lavender letterbox,
They'd been best of friends since Nursery School,
And they thought the docks were very cool!
"One day" said Pip (who was an Elf),
"I'll leave my perch upon this shelf,
I'll travel the world with that vet Truda,
On a supersonic Draft-Excluder!
I thank you! :-)

The joys of a little person - The Dummy Fairy
I have a little person.......She's called Emmy, but we also like to call her Noodles.
She loves her Daddy's band and likes to sing "Can't buy me Love" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash" in the car very loudly!
She's 2 and 1/2 years old. :-)
We're toilet training at the moment and so far we've had 2 whole days dry, but then it's included me saying "Do you need to go?", her saying "No!", me taking her and her going anyway! We'll get there. :-)
However the biggest test for me to date has to be the Dummy Fairy. Tonight The Dummy Fairy will come to our house and take the little pile of dummies from her bedroom shelf and give them to the new babies. This is because the way she sucks her dummy (bottom lip over the dummy) makes her dribble and it upsets her so this morning she said she didn't want them any more. So.....this brings us to the present time.
She cried for about 5 minutes (well cry is an over-exaggeration...it was more a noise of sorts) and now she's asleep. I don't even think she knew why she was crying as she didn't once ask for a dummy, just kept looking around as if there was something else she should be doing before going to sleep.
Well lets see what the morning brings....Maybe the Dummy Fairy left a present to say thankyou!

Welcome to me!
I used to write a diary.......well it was more of a rant about how unfair life was, but it was done daily so that makes it a diary right?
Well that was way back in the early 90's!
I follow my Sisters blog and it makes for interesting reading! She's my Sister and so I should know her. I see her at least once a week but yet we don't really talk, or catch up on life and what makes each other tick.
It's made me think. I like writing and so why not follow suit? Or copy as I think it's more commonly called!
I also have some Bits 'n' Bobs from an old tattered book of stuff that I populate from time to time, that might be of interest.
So.....welcome to me! :-)
